PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a storage battery system that prevents a load of a part of controllers from being excessively large even when the number of storage battery units becomes large.SOLUTION: A storage battery system BS includes a plurality of storage battery units 10 each having a storage battery 20 and a controller 40, for controlling charging/discharging of the storage battery 20. Each of the controllers 40, upon dividing all the other storage battery units 10 into a plurality of groups, for each of the groups, acquires information concerning the storage battery 20 belonging to the group by communicating only with one of the controllers 40 out of controllers 40 belonging to the group.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
