PURPOSE: To provide a storage box for heating/heat-insulating of foods, which can quickly perform the heating of heat-insulating of foods, and also, of which the heating is evenly done.

CONSTITUTION: For a box 1 in which foods can be stored on shelves, a panel heater 14 is integrally built in at least on a bottom wall 15, right and left side walls 17, 17 and back wall 19, and for this reason, the uniformity of heating can be obtained. Also, the panel heater 14 has a sandwich strucuture which is constituted in such a manner that an heat insulating plate 21 of a high foamed resin with a high heat insulating property is used as the main body, and in the heat insulating plate 21, a flat heating body 25 made of a carbon material with a high generating quantity of far infrared rays is pinched to form a reinforced heat insulating layer 23 made of a low foamed resin with a favorable heat conduction, and therefore, the temperature of the inside can quickly be raised. As a prover, a required humidifying condition can be obtained by simply inserting a hot water filling container 10 in the bottom wall.
