To solve problems that it is not easy to carry a portable cutting machine, chips generated when a workpiece is cut mess up a surrounding area, and there is a risk of the occurrence of an accident due to spark.
A storage case 1 is provided with a bottom plate 3 on which the portable cutting machine 31 is placed and a box cover 7 of almost the same size as the bottom plate 3 having an opening 9 at one side face. Each rear end of the bottom plate 3 and the opening 9 is rotatably connected each other by a hinge 11, and the bottom plate 3 and the box cover 7 in a closed state are locked by a buckle 20. A bouncing prevention screen 15 is mounted to the opening 9 of the box cover 7 and lateral spattering prevention plates 13 are mounted to both sides of the rear part of the plate 3. Accordingly, when the box cover 7 is closed and locked by the buckle 20, the storage case 1 with the cutting machine 31 can be carried by gripping a handle 21. The chips 55 spattering backward from the workpiece W go into the box cover 7, the chips 55 bouncing forward are blocked by a bouncing prevention screen 15, and the chips laterally spattering is prevented from spattering to a surrounding area by the lateral spattering prevention plate 13.
