To provide a storage container having a string-through groove in which old newspapers, old magazines and the like stored in the container can be easily bundled, easily taken out of the container and also they can be moved together with the container.

The storage container having the string-through groove is characterized in that: a plurality of receptacles are arranged at the upper surface of a hand cart; a plurality of drop-prevention guides having binding string fixing grooves are provided; the receptacles are provided with fixing or removing grooves enabling the drop-prevention guides to be freely pulled out; the string-through grooves constituted of the receptacles are formed, a mark indicating the center is set at the bottom surface of each of the string-through grooves; and the lower surface of the hand cart is provided with wheels.
