Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make it possible to easily grasp such as a repurchase time of a magnetic disc device provided in a recording device to be easily grasped.SOLUTION: A magnetic disc device 100 is configured to write or read recording data between a recording device 300 and the magnetic disc device by USB communication via a first communication unit. A CPU 11 is configured to write SMART information on a hard disc 30 and a work load cumulative value in a flash memory 20 every a prescribed time has elapsed. A terminal device such as a smartphone 200 is configured to conduct Bluetooth communication via a second communication unit, request the magnetic disc device 100 to acquire the SMART information and the work load cumulative value for each prescribed time and receive the acquired SMART information and work load cumulative value. On the basis of the received SMART information and work load cumulative value, an amount of change is compared with a threshold. Once a judgement of a repurchase time is made, the repurchase time is noticed with the smartphone 200. The smartphone 200 serving as the terminal device is easily visible as a notice device, which in turn makes it hard to overlook the repurchase time.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
