Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a storage device, a sheet feeder, and an image reader that has a means for storing a sheet in a rolled form, ensures a safe pickup of the roll-stored sheet and has good operability.
SOLUTION: A rolling storage guide 27 is turnable on a support shaft 29 and is thus movable from a rolling position (continuous line position) where it crosses a first output paper tray 26 to roll up and store a sheet inserted in an a-direction and outputted in a d-direction to a pickup position (dotted line position) where it is above the device. For rolling control, the user operates a knob 28 to move the rolling storage guide 27 to the rolling position, and pick up the stored sheet in the operating place in front of the device.
