PURPOSE: To obtain a method for forming an outer electrode of a laminated ceramic capacitor in which a contact of an inner electrode with an outer electrode is effectively executed by any of a method for forming the outer electrode itself.

CONSTITUTION: The method for forming an outer electrode of a laminated ceramic capacitor comprises the steps of filling and mixing Ag powder (metal powder) 2 and ZrO2 powder (ceramic powder) 3 in a heat resistant vessel 5, mixing laminated ceramics 1 having an inner electrode made of Pd in the mixture powder, heat treating it at 500-900°C, and then forming the outer electrode on the ceramics 1. The inner electrode can be sufficiently exposed from the ceramics 1 by heat treating.
