To enable arranging a furniture main body by means of easily adjusting mutual heights in the case it is juxtaposed with another piece of furniture by providing an upper box in the upper part of the top plate of the box shape furniture main body to be freely height adjustable with an upper adjustment member and arranging the upper door of the upper box to overlap with the front hang board of the furniture main body.
The upper box 4 is placed in the upper part of the top plate 24 of the box shape furniture main body 2. In this case, the upper adjustment member 7 which pushes-up the upper box 4 so as to be freely vertically movable and adjusts its height is arranged in the upper part of the furniture main body 2. Then, the upper door 5 is arranged to overlap with the front hang board 25 of the main body 2. When storage furniture 1 is arranged, the upper box 4 placed on the upper part of the furniture main body 2 is pushed-up by the upper adjustment member 7 to clog a gap with a ceiling 9 by its upper surface 4a. That is, the gap between the main body 2 and the ceiling 9 is clogged by the upper box 4 to adjust a storage degree, sound shielding and light shielding or the like are executed and storage furniture 1 works as a partitioning unit.
