Abstract:
To eliminate a risk that, when taking out hot water in a hot water storage tank 1, if an operation procedure is erroneously executed, the hot water in the hot water storage tank cannot be taken out, and the hot water storage tank may be damaged.SOLUTION: Since an interlock mechanism for making an opening operation of a lid 31 and an opening operation of a release valve lever 21 interlocked with each other, and making a closing operation of the lid 31 and a closing operation of the release valve lever 21 interlocked with each other is arranged at a hot water storage type water heater, the release valve lever 21 is opened in conjunction with the opening operation of the lid 31 when opening the lid 31, a user can thereby open an emergency intake tap 24 in a proper procedure without hesitation, thus capable of providing a daily-life water intake method which is excellent in operability, and preventing the damage of the hot water storage tank caused by the erroneous execution of the operation procedure.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4
