PURPOSE: To improve the performance of storing paper sheets into a stacker by varying the angle of an ejected paper sheet entering into a stacker according to the size of the paper sheet and the stacked amount, when the paper sheets conveyed are stored in the stacker.

CONSTITUTION: A movable guide member 9 is arranged in the carry-out port 6 on the traveling passage of a paper-sheet conveying machine. The sensors 8 and A which respectively detect the size of the paper sheets 2 to be conveyed and the stacked amount H of the paper sheets accumulated in a stacker 5 are arranged in the caarry-out port 6, and the operation angle of the guide member 9 is controlled by each detection signal of the sensors 8 and A, and the angle of the ejected paper sheets 2 entering into the stacker 5 is varied according to the size of the paper sheet and the stacked amount, and thus the perfomance of stacking paper sheets into the stacker 5 is improved.
