Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an installation method for duct and a block for duct, where it is unnecessary to wind a wire rope around blocks for duct, installation work is facilitated, neat and proper appearance is obtained, and lids are made difficult to open, after the completion of installation work which is advantageous in terms of security. SOLUTION: A block body 1 for duct is provided with a rectangular lid member 2 which closes the top thereof, and the lid member is formed so that both the end face of the lid member in the direction of width are inclined in parallel in the same direction. An engaging groove 4, against which the inclined end faces of the lid member are abutted, is formed at the upper ends of both the sidewalls of the block for duct, and the sidewalls 5 of the engaging grooves are formed in correspondence with the inclined end faces of the lid member. The portions of the sidewalls 5 of the engaging groove on one side, forming an acute angle, at both the ends in the direction of length are formed on a wide engaging groove side wall 21, which forms an angle which is substantially symmetrical to the inclined angle of the sidewalls 5 of the engaging groove on the other side forming a wide angle. A coupling mechanism, which connects together the end faces of adjoining lid members, is formed at both the end faces of the lid member in the length direction.
