Abstract:
PURPOSE: To provide the subject compsn. composed of a reaction product of a specific ratio of an org. isocyanate and methylpropanediol and crystalline at room temp. and excellent in storage stability.
CONSTITUTION: An org. isocyanate (pref., diphenylmethane diisocyanate, toluene diisocyanate, etc.), is reacted with a stoichiometric amt. or less of 2-methyl-1,3- propanediol to use 1.2-6 mol of the above-mentioned org. isocyanate per 1 mol of 2-methyl-1,3-propenediol and the product is finely ground to obtain the objective compsn.
