On a main body 1 of an electronic equipment, a recessed part 2 for attaching a battery cover is formed and a battery storage hole 4 is formed nearly on the center of the recessed part 2 for attaching the battery cover. This battery storage hole 4 is composed of two steps with a large diameter hole part 5 standing on a near side and a small diameter hole part 6 concentrically with the large diameter hole pat 5 standing in the inward side. The small diameter hole part 6 has such a diameter that the small diameter parts of a small diameter coin-shaped battery B2 and a steped large diameter thickness type coin-shaped battery are stored, and has such a depth that a small diameter side electrode is brought into contact with a battery armature. A large diameter hole part 5 has such a diameter that the large diameter part of the steped large diameter thickness type coin-shaped battery is stored. A positive electrode side battery armature 12 is provided with a battery contacting part 14 of a cone coil spring capable of being brought in pressure contact with a positive electrode plane part of any battery B2.
