Title:
STORAGE SYSTEM FOR GENERATOR WITH CHANGING OUTPUT VOLTAGE
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP2004120881
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

To provide a storage system for a generator with changing output voltages, such as wind turbine power generation, capable of starting charging even if the output voltage of the generator is low, and capable of performing charging corresponding to the power generating capacity even when the output voltage of the generator is high.

This storage system comprises voltage sensors 3 for detecting the output voltage of the generator G; a plurality of storage batteries B1 to B4; switches R1 to R7 for switching the number of the batteries connected with the generator G, in such a mode as to connect the batteries in series to each other when the plurality of storage batteries are connected with the generator; and a control means 4 of switching the switches R1 to R7, by decreasing the number of the batteries connected with the generator G if the output voltage is lower than a voltage value detected by the voltage sensor 3, and by increasing the number of the batteries if it is higher.
