Abstract:
To provide a storage system that allows an article to be received on a cash-on-delivery basis even when a delivery box or a locker for article reception having no paying means, etc., are used as a delivery destination.SOLUTION: A storage system comprises: a management part 23a which associates and manages article information related to an article stored in a lockable storage part 17 and amount information representing a paid amount of money related to the article; communication parts 14, 21 which send the article information and amount information to an external payment processing device (communication terminal device 30) if the storage part 17 stored with the article is locked, and also receives payment completion information representing the amount of money is paid through the payment processing device (communication terminal device 30); and a locking control part 16b which locks the storage part 17 when the article is stored in the storage part 17, and unlocks the storage part 17 stored with the article when payment completion notice is received by the communication parts 14, 21.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 5
