Abstract:
To surely relieve a storage tank, when a big wave rises in a sloshing phenomenon accompanying an earthquake, from the impact of the wave so as to prevent damage in the side wall, etc.
On a ceiling wall Tb of a liquid storage tank T built by joining unit boards 1 successively a unit board 11 having a pressure relief lid 12 is placed at each of the four corners. When an impact of a wave caused by a sloshing phenomenon accompanying an earthquake acts on the pressure relief lid 12, the pressure relief lid 12 is made to open so as to relieve the tank from the impact of the wave.
