Title:
STORAGE TYPE WATER HEATER
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP2012242013
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

To satisfy designed lifetime without impairing necessary functions by independently limiting the number of times of operation by every operating mode, with respect to the various operating modes including a single boiling operation and a reheating operation.

This storage type water heater 100 includes a hot water storage tank 10, a bathtub 50, a heat pump unit 60 and the like. A control section 70 operates the heat pump unit 60 as necessary, and automatically selects and implements any of operating modes constituted of the single boiling operation, a defrosting operation, a heat pump direct reheating operation and a hot water storage reheating operation. Further, the control section 70 individually sets the limited number of times of operation of each operating mode, and restricts the implementation of the operating mode in which the number of times of operations is over the limited number of times of operation. Thus, the number of times of the operation of each operation mode can be limited within a proper range according to, for example, a degree of importance of each operation mode, load in implementation, and presence or absence of alternate functions, and the designed lifetime of the compressor 61 and the like can be satisfied.
