Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a storage water heater that enables a boiling-up operation while maintaining a compressor high/low pressure ratio (discharge pressure/suction pressure) within an upper limit value at low outside air temperature.SOLUTION: A storage water heater includes a control device 100 for controlling a boiling-up circulation pump P1, a heat pump unit 2 and a boiling-up three-way valve 30. Before a boiling-up operation is performed at low outside air temperature, a boiling-up operation control section of the control device 100 controls the boiling-up three-way valve 30 to circulate hot water within a hot water storage tank 3 via portions (L1, L2, 10, L3) of a boiling-up circuit and a bypass circuit (L10) by using the boiling-up circulation pump P1, and a bypass operation is performed to return the delivered hot water heated by a boiling-up heat exchanger 10 to the lower portion within the hot water storage tank 3 via the bypass circuit (L10) until a water inflow temperature of the boiling-up heat exchanger 10 exceeds a preset completion determination temperature t.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
