To provide a storing case for a cartridge, a mold and a molding method capable of improving productivity by reducing a cycle of molding the storing case for the cartridge, wherein an amount of resin to be used for it is reduced and productivity is improved by suitably setting holding parts for holding the cartridge, so that reduction in cost can be achieved.
The storing case comprises a main body 30 and a cover member 20 mounted on the main body in such a state as to be freely flapped. The cover member has right and left side walls 22 extending to the inner side thereof, and each side wall is provided with a protuberant part 22b which is engaged with a recess of a cartridge on the inner side of the cover member when the cartridge is stored, and a holding part 26 for holding the cartridge in a state that the cover member is opened. Each holding part is protrusively provided at an upper end of each side wall so as to hang over an upper wall 21 of the cover member from the upper end of each side wall, and holds the cartridge between a plane 26b facing the upper wall side of the holding part and the upper wall thereof. A through-hole 26a is defined in each side wall to which the holding part is provided.
