PURPOSE: To achieve not only labor saving but also high productivity by automatically and continuously subdividing and storing long metal wire in receptacles.
CONSTITUTION: A predetermined number of receptacles (in this case three receptacles) 21W23 are disposed concyclically on a rotary table 3 and metal wire is continuously stored in a receptacle 21 of them. When a predetermined amount of metal wire is stored, the table 3 is rotated to the position of the next receptacle 22 to subsequently store the metal wire in the receptacle 22. On rotation of the table 3, an automatic metal wire cutter 4 disposed in the vicinity of the table 3 automatically cuts the metal wire portion 11 extending from the former receptacle 21 to the latter receptacle 22. Such a process is repeated subsequently to automatically subdividing and storing metal wire in the receptacles, permitting labor saving and high productivity.
