Abstract:
PURPOSE: To suppress a rapid oxidation reaction and exothermicity by alloying and enhance safety in the case of storing hydrogen in uranium in a metal hydride form.
CONSTITUTION: The uranium is alloyed by adding other metal having a hydrogen occluding property, and the hydrogen is occluded to this uranium alloy at the time of storing the hydrogen in the metal hydride form.
