To keep the sharpness of an edge favorable all the time by that the edge of the kitchen knife is ground by the integral constitution of the kitchen knife and a grinding tool when the kitchen knife is stored/delivered in/from a storing part.

This is composed of a base stand 1 having a groove for supporting the back of a kitchen knife, an elastic member 3, having an elasticity, fixed one side end to the end of the base stand 1 and a grinding tool block 4 installed a grinding tool 5 for grinding the edge 24 of the kitchen knife 23 on the other end of the elastic member 3. By the elastic member 3 energizing the grinding tool block 4 in the base stand 1 side, the kitchen knife 23 inserted in the groove of the base stand 1 is held and also the edge 24 of the kitchen knife 23 is ground when the kitchen knife 23 is inserted in the groove.
