Abstract:
To provide a flat wire bending device without need of making a metallic mold for each desired shape into which a flat wire is bent and capable of reducing manufacturing cost.SOLUTION: A flat wire bending device comprises: a fixing die including curve surface and fixed; a bending top which includes curve surface and bends a flat wire by sandwiching the flat wire between the curve surface thereof and the curve surface of the fixing die; feed-out means which feeds out the flat wire to the bending top side; and rotation means which rotates the bending top around the fixing die along the curve surface of the fixing die. The feed-out means bends the flat wire to the fixing die side by feeding out the flat wire to the bending top side while the bending top is fixed at a prescribed angle around the fixing die. The rotation means bends the flat wire to the fixing die side at a large curvature in comparison with feeding out the flat wire to the bending top side by rotating the bending top along the curve surface of the fixing die while suspending the feed-out means from feeding out the flat wire.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
