In a straight cup rotary grinding wheel 10 in which a plurality of segments 12 using diamond abrasive grains are attached along the outer peripheral edge of a straight cup stock flange 11, the degree of concentration of diamond abrasive grains on the front sides 12a in the rotating direction of respective segments 12 is set in the range of 100 to 160, the degree of concentration of diamond abrasive grains on the rear sides 12b is set to 50 or less, and the front sides and the rear sides are integrally formed. The ratio of the circumferential length on the front side in the rotating direction of each segment 12 to the circumferential length on the rear side is set to 1:3 to 1:10.
