Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a straight beam generator attached to a very convenient level.
SOLUTION: A level 5 having a reference plane 4 to contact a measuring surface 3 is attached to the bottom face of a body 2 having a level vial 1 at the top face for measuring the levelness. An emitter 7 is provided for emitting a straight light beam such as laser beam, a level vial 8 for indicating the levelness is provided on the emitter 7, and the level 5 is attached to the emitter 7 such that the emitter 7 can be attached horizontally owing to the level vial 8 and hence attached to the level 5 to thereby irradiate the straight beam from an emitting part 6 of the emitter 7 in parallel to the reference plane 4 of the level 5.
