Two rail sections 3 and 5 are arranged apart a spacing from each other. A nozzle holding section 7 is arranged between the two rail sections 3 and 5. The rail sections 3 and 5 move a top segment and a tail segment while aligning both to a slender cord 43 of a guide and therefore eventually move in alignment to a prescribed position with good accuracy. Accordingly, a line 41 formed by coating application of a coating material srayed from a nozzle 35 held in the nozzle holding section 7 to a ground surface is eventually drawn to a straight line.
