Abstract:
To reduce design cost and the size of an apparatus by eliminating the necessity of a drum-shaped roller, and correct the warp of a metal cylindrical pipe without damaging the surface of the metal cylindrical pipe, thereby improving circularity and straightness.SOLUTION: In a set roller 30, two rollers 32A and 32B are arranged with a space therebetween around a rotational shaft 31 inclined with respect to a feeding axis direction D1 of a metal cylindrical pipe 200. A roller set 10 includes three sets of the set rollers 30 at equal spaces in the circumferential direction of the metal cylindrical pipe 200 and at the same location in a forward direction D1, thereby forming one stage. Five stages of the roller sets 10 are arranged along the forward direction D1. In a state where the circumferential surfaces of the rollers 32A and 32B are brought into pressure-contact with the surface of the metal cylindrical pipe 200, the rollers 32A and 32B are rotated in a direction which causes portions, in the circumferential surfaces of the rollers 32A and 32B, in contact with the surface of the metal cylindrical pipe 200 to advance forward in the feeding axis direction D1.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
