A thin planar strain body 2 for measuring load of an object to be weighed includes: a pair of load receiving parts 4a, 4b for supporting an object-to-be-weighed receiving tray on which the object to be weighed is placed; a strain part 5 arranged on a position sandwiched between the pair of load receiving parts 4a and 4b and allowed to be strained by receiving the load of the object to be measured; and load supporting parts 6a, 6b arranged on the outsides of the load receiving parts 4a, 4b to support the load. The strain part 5 is configured by a beam whose both ends are fixed, and the load receiving parts 4a, 4b, the strain part 5 and the load supporting parts 6a, 6b are integrally formed.
