Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a strain correcting device with which the strain in a rear fork of a motor-cycle, for example, is accurately corrected and surely corrected by everybody without requiring skillfulness.
SOLUTION: The amount of strain of the inside width in the rightto-left direction of the right and left pipes Fl, F2 of the rear fork F which is poitioned on a jig table 1 is measured by right and left width measuring mechanisms 30, 30, the servomotors of the right and left width correcting mechanisms 10, 10 are operated and controlled based on these amounts of strain, the right and left pipes F, F2 are displaced by prescribed amounts in the right and left directions and width strain is corrected. The amounts of strain of the steps of the right and left pipes Fl, F2 are measured with a step measuring mechanism 31, the servomotor of a step correcting mechanism is operated and controlled based on this amount of strain and, by vertically displacing the right pipe F[2( by a prescribed amount, step strain correction is executed.
