PURPOSE: To obtain a strap attaching structure for a binoculars not constituting a through-hole for a strap as a projection by integrally providing a strap guiding wall forming a strap insert passage in a mirror barrel main body, which is fitted into the through-hole on one end part and connected to a strap through- opening on the other end part.

CONSTITUTION: The opening part on the side of an eyepiece barrel 13 of a right mirror barrel main body 10 is covered with a right cover member 20. This cover member 20 is provided with the insert-hole for the eyepiece barrel 13 and a fixing small screw for the right mirror barrel main body 10. A closed strap insert-opening 24d is formed in the right cover member 20 and further a series of roughly L-shaped strap guiding walls fitted into the insert-hole of the right mirror barrel main body 10 on one end part and facing the strap insert-opening 24d on the other end part is integrally formed. By this structure, a series of strap through-paths 24 is actually formed in the right mirror barrel main body 10 (and a rubber cover member 30), without projecting outside the main body 10.
