Abstract:
To provide a strap which causes little obstruction to mold releasing operation, and provides a high-quality weld of inter-cell connecting portions.
The strap 1 for a lead storage battery comprises the inter-cell connecting portions 2 which are adjacently spaced with a partition and welded to each other in the lead storage battery, and connecting sections 3 which are integrally unified with ear parts of electrode plate groups. The inter-cell connecting portion 2 and the connecting section 3 are formed in a near right-angle L-shape. Both sides of the inter-cell connecting portion 2 and the connecting section 3 are formed so as to straightly stretch. The inter-cell connecting portion 2 is formed so as to taper with 0.6° to 1.0°.
