Abstract:
To provide a strapper with an integral yet removable cleaning element.
A strapping device forms a seal between the two parts of a strap material combined, and a supply wheel supplies tension to the strap material before the formation of the seal. The device includes a strapping machine main body and a subassembly functionally combined with the main body. The wheel is supported by the subassembly and is rotatable therein. A supply lever is functionally combined with the subassembly and the supply wheel for rotating the subassembly. A cleaning element is supported by the subassembly, and is positioned to always touch the rotary supply wheel.
