PURPOSE: To enable electric and thermal insulation to be held even at a high temperature by providing the circumference of a shape memory wire with an adiabatic insulating layer to keep the insulation of the shape memory wire and preventing a heat radiation in heating.
CONSTITUTION: When a conductor (b) for electrification is not provided, a stratum logging wire is inserted in a vertical hole H with a required length formed in a stratum A to be logged together with the conductor (b) and left as they are for a given period, for example, half a year. When inserted, the shape memory wire 1 and the conductor (b) are electrically connected to each other at their inserted ends. After left as they are for the given period, the memory wire is electrified via the conductor (b) and heated to the shape memory temperature of the wire 1, being kept for a required time, for example, 30 minutes. Thereafter, the electrification is cut and the logging wire (a) is drawn out of the hole H. When the drawn out logging wire (a) is electrified again to a memory returning temperature, the memory wire 1 takes the configuration of the inside of the hole H. Therefore, for example, when the memory wire 1 is straight when it is inserted for the first time and takes a wave configuration after the logging, it is represented that the hole H receives such a deformation, that is, the stratum moves like the deformation.
