Abstract:
To provide a stream receiving apparatus in which a buffering wait time can be shortened.
In the stream receiving apparatus, before a user operates an input part 15, a control part 12 uses the location information of selected (n) stream transmitting stations to generate a distribution request R of data for requesting the transmission of streams ST stored therein. Afterwards, streams ST are buffered successively from their reproduction starting portions in a stream storage part 14. When the stream ST to be targeted is stored, in response to the operation of the input part 15, the control part 12 reads and reproduces the target stream ST successively from its reproduction starting portion from the stream storage part 14.
