Abstract:
To allow anyone to easily and visually evaluate the intensity distribution of a material cross section by displaying a profile data group (intensity distribution of material cross section) of abrasion marks in a color image.SOLUTION: A material intensity distribution color image display method comprises the steps of: projecting slurry onto a subject at a high speed with the compressed air to cause erosion in the thickness direction of a subject; forming an abrasion mark by repeating erosion; repeating acquisition of the shape curve of the abrasion mark for each erosion; acquiring a shape curve data group in the entire region of the abrasion mark; and displaying the intensity distribution of an abrasion mark cross section obtained from the shape curve group in a color image by using the color gradation correlated to the intensity. The intensity distribution of only the designated width of the vertical direction center part of the shape curve data group can be displayed in the color image by using the color gradation correlated to the intensity.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 7
