Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a stress and distortion analyzing device for sufficiently expressing a shear zone in materials depending on a confining pressure such as ground materials.
SOLUTION: An arithmetic controlling means 26 calculates the relation between physical amounts corresponding to a stress and physical amounts corresponding to distortion in the ground according to data or an instruction inputted from an inputting means 22. At that time, not only components corresponding to the normal direction of a plastic potential face but also components corresponding to the tangential direction among the physical amounts corresponding to a plastic distortion speed depend on a deflection stress rate and the speed. Also, the arithmetic control means 26 calculates the deformation of a ground due to a force acting on a ground by a finite element method based on the above mentioned relation, and a displaying means 28 displays this. A finite element used for executing the finite element method has shear rigidity in the same level as a normal primary element, and vertical rigidity which is smaller than the normal primary elements. Thus, it is possible to sufficiently express a shear zone in the ground materials.
