To obtain a stress reducing structure of an intermediate casing in a multistage turbine pump, reducing the stress generated in bent portions of next stage intermediate casing bodies in respective intermediate casings formed by press working and stacked.
In the intermediate casing 3 of the multistage turbine pump, a flange part 4 is formed by bending an open end of the intermediate casing body 3 of a cylindrical container shape, which has a bottom plate 2 on one side and is opened on the other side, inward at a sharp angle, and the bent portion 6 between a cylindrical body 5 formed at the open end of the intermediate casing body 3 and the flange part 4 is arranged to abut against the outer face of the bottom plate 2 of the next stage intermediate casing body 3. A part on an outer face side of the flange part 4 is cut in a tapered manner over the bent portion 6 and the abutting position A between the bent portion 6 and the outer face of the bottom plate 2 of the next stage intermediate casing body 3 is brought close to the plate thickness center C of the cylindrical body 5 of the intermediate casing body 3.
