To provide a stretch film packaging apparatus in which a safety in replacement work for a cut heater wire is assured to prevent any cause of fire burn or fire when the heater wire for use in cutting a film used for enclosing a container having a food such as a daily dish or the like put in it or fruits or vegetables and the like with a stretch film and for melting and adhering its bottom part is cut.

There is provided a stretch film packaging apparatus in which a roll strip film 2 is mounted on a base table 1 in such a way that it can be freely and the pulled-out film 2 is thermally melted and cut by a cutter 4 under application of heat of a heater wire 8. One end of the heater wire 8 stored in the cutter 4 is connected to a fixed element 6 and in turn, a rotor 7 having the other end of the heater wire connected to it keeps a continuity in which a micro-switch 11 is closed under a normal state of the heater wire 8. When the heater wire 8 is cut, the rotary member is rotated with a tension force of a return spring 21 arranged at the rotor 7, the micro-switch 11 is turned off to make it non-conductive.
