Abstract:

PURPOSE: To obtain sewing threads capable of forming a stretchable seam in any machine by combining elastic fibers and plastically deformable thermoplastic synthetic fibers in a specific condition.

CONSTITUTION: Elastic fibers and plastically deformable thermoplastic synthetic fibers are combined with twisting, etc., without making any essential difference in fiber feeding. Stretchability is developed after elongation, so it is able to develop stretchability solely in a required part of a seam part.
