Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a stretchable knitted union fabric having excellent resistance to chlorine and dyeability, and combinedly having stretch recovery and feeling, and suitable for sports use, comprising polyurethane-based elastic fibers and polyester fibers.
SOLUTION: This stretchable knitted fabric is composed of union cloth of (A) polyurethane-based elastic fibers and (B) polyester fibers. In the knitted fabric, the fibers A are added with 0.5-4.5 wt.% of metal oxide, etc., especially magnesium oxide or zinc oxide in the fibers and the fibers B are mainly composed of polypropylene terephthalate and have ≥80% elongation recovery at 30% elongation.
