Abstract:
To provide a stretchable sheet for an absorbent article capable of increasing an expansion rate by combining maintaining a satisfactory appearance with high tensile strength.SOLUTION: There is provided a stretchable sheet 10 for an absorbent article in which elastic fibers 13 are inserted and held between an air-through nonwoven fabric 11 and a spunbonded nonwoven fabric 12 and are fused on the air-through nonwoven fabric 11 with strength equal to or larger than that of the spunbonded nonwoven fabric 12. There is also provided a method for manufacturing the stretchable sheet 10.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
