PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve a problem difficult to detach a stretchable spiral and incapable of readily carrying out maintenance of inspection, cleaning, etc., because a connecting part between a base cylinder and a top cylinder constituting a moving carrying cylinder leans on the top side in the stretching auger device in conventional combine harvester.
SOLUTION: In a grain carrying auger for carrying grains stored in grain tank of a combine harvester out of the machine, a movable carrying cylinder slidably fitted into a fixed carrying cylinder 4 attached to grain-lifting cylinder is connected to a stretchable driving device to enable stretchable moving in cylindrical direction. The movable carrying cylinder internally installs a stretchable spiral 8 for carrying grains taken over from a carrying spiral 7 internally installed and supported in the fixed carrying cylinder 4 and a top cylinder 5b having grain discharge port at the top side is connected to a base cylinder 5a fitted into the fixed carrying cylinder 4. When the top cylinder 5b is separated from the base cylinder 5b at the position contracted to the side of the fixed carrying cylinder 4 the base end attaching part A of stretchable spiral 8 connected to the side of the carrying spiral 7 is exposed to the outside.
