To easily detach a string button from a switch string and keep the string button always clean by washing it frequently.

The string button 1 comprises a cavity portion 9 for storing the switch string tied to a switch portion and a stopper portion 8 caught on a catch portion 3 of the switch string 2. Right and left lug portions 4 are formed at the lower side of the string button 1 and a slit 6 is formed ranging from the upper position of the lug portion 4 to the upper end of the string button. Right and left portions 7 of the string button with the slit 6 located therebetween are opened from side to side by picking the right and left lug portions 4 to come close to each other, and so the stopper portion 8 located at the upper side of the string button is opened.
