Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide the stringed instrument with a sound hole which can prevent the interference of a resonating (amplified) sound wave in a resonant body and then can amplify a sound by reducing the attenuation quantity of the sound.
SOLUTION: On the top surface of the sounding board 11a of the resonant body 11, strings 14 are extended through a bridge base 11e, and inside the sounding board 11a of the resonant body 11, the base end part of a diaphragm 13 in a lengthwise flat plate shape is fitted across a bracket 12 to constitute the stringed instrument 10 with the sound hole, which is equipped with a reflection block 11h for reflecting a sound from the front to both sideward directions inside the resonant body 11 in front of the free end side of the diaphragm 13.
