Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a strapping device which can mechanically, efficiently and automatically perform, as a series of works, work for feeding wrapping paper to wrap a workpiece prior to work for winding and tying a string around a workpiece such as a lunch box, and improve not only processing capacity but also packaging quality.SOLUTION: A strapping device 10 includes: a wrapping paper feeding unit 20 which feeds wrapping paper 2 onto an upper face of a lunch box 1 set at an introduction position and wraps the lunch box 1 in the wrapping paper 2 while bending the wrapping paper 2 along a side face of the lunch box 1; a conveying unit 30 which conveys the lunch box 1 wrapped in the wrapping paper 2 while holding a state where the wrapping paper 2 is bent along the side face of the lunch box 1; a strapping unit 40 which winds and ties a string 3 around the lunch box 1 conveyed to a strapping position from above the wrapping paper 2; and a discharging unit 50 which discharges the lunch box 1 after strapping is completed to the outside.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
