Abstract:
PURPOSE: To accurately advance a strip by predetermined quantity by alternately operating a positioning means and a sending-out means for positioning the strip so that bending areas become a predetermined position to a feed mechanism before respective advances.
CONSTITUTION: A strip 11 has a series of bending areas at regular intervals along the length, and the bending areas position the strip 11 so as to exist in a predetermined position to a gripping mechanism 18 including a holding piston assembly 13 and a piston 19 being a feed mechanism 10 by lowering a guide pin 26 in the direction 30. The strip 11 is moved by a distance corresponding to an interval between the bending areas by separating the holding piston assembly 13 and the gripping mechanism 18 from a block 12. Thus, the strip 11 can be accurately advanced by predetermined quantity by alternately operating the guide pin 26, the holding piston assembly 13 and the gripping mechanism.
