To provide a stripping off device capable of performing abdominal fat-stripping off work in a meat-processing process easily in a short time in a state of hanging a slaughtered body after performing a back-splitting process.
This stripping off device is provided by mounting an air-cylinder 2 on a guide rail 3, and a wire-guiding roller 1 at its tip end. By actuating the air-cylinder 2 with a foot switch 14 to move the wire-guiding roller 1 front and rear, a hanging metal tool 7 at a tip end is moved up and down from a wire-stopping metal tool 4 at the upper part of the air-cylinder 2 through the wire-guiding roller 1 and further to a pulley 5. Air-cylinders 10, 11 each attached with a nipping upper plate 8 and a nipping lower plate 9 are mounted at the both tip ends of the hanging metal tool 7, and by actuating them with foot switches 12, 13, the abdominal fat is caught by the nipping upper plate 8 and the nipping lower plate 9 and is stripped off by lifting up the hanging metal tool 7 with the foot switch 14.
