PURPOSE: To attain normal color pickup by applying color correction at real pickup in bounce pickup state based on photometric information by pre-lighting at direct radiation pickup state and photometric information by pre-lighting at bounce pickup information.
CONSTITUTION: A pickup control circuit 3a gives pre-lighting command by a direct radiation Xenon flash tube 1bD to a strobo control circuit 1a and a strobo device 1 starts pre-lighting. The circuit 3a gives a photometric command to a photometric control circuit 2a nearly simultaneously and the photometric device 2 stores photometric information from an object to an internal memory. Succeedingly, the circuit 3a gives a pre-lighting command of a bound Xenon flash tube 1bB to the circuit 1a and gives a photometric command to the circuit 2a and the device 2 measures the color of the object. Then the circuit 3a obtains a color correction correcting color unbalancing at the bounce pickup state based on the difference between the photometric information from the device 2 and the photometric information at direct radiation and sets the quantity to a color correction circuit 3c.
