A main capacitor unit 26 is constituted of a sub-substrate 37 and a main capacitor 34. Circuit elements such as a thyristor, a phototransister and a phototransister are mounted on the sub-substrate 37, and also, a light control circuit is mounted on the substrate 37. A bobbin 39 with a choke coil wound is integrally attached to the main capacitor 34. The sub-substrate 37 is positioned in a prescribed position by a positioning projection arranged on the bobbin 39. The main capacitor unit 26 is fixed in the prescribed position of the stroboscopic device main body 25 by soldering. The main capacitor unit 26 is attached to the same position as that of the main capacitor 87, then, the main capacitor 87, so that the main capacitor unit 26 are selectively attached in the case of assembling or reusing the stroboscopic device.
