Abstract:
To provide a stroke simulator which enables reduction of the number of components without impairing brake feeling.SOLUTION: The stroke simulator includes: a piston 22 disposed in a cylinder hole 211; a lid member 23 which closes an opening located at the other end side of the cylinder hole 211; and elastic members 24, 25 disposed between the piston 22 and the lid member 23. The elastic members 24, 25 comprise: a first elastic member 24 disposed at the piston 22 side of the cylinder hole 211; and a second elastic member 25 disposed at the lid member 23 side of the cylinder hole 211. The second elastic member 25 has: a base part 251 disposed serially with the first elastic member 24; and a protruding part 252 protruding from a piston 22 side end surface of the base part 251, and is configured so that when the piston 22 moves in an axial direction to the lid member 23 side, the protruding part 252 contacts with the piston 22 to compressively deform and then the base part 251 compressively deforms.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
